Nicole Richie has been making the rounds promoting her debut line at Macy’s, and her styling choices have yet to dissapoint! Here she shows off all her hard work with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson with a form-fitting ensemble for her appearance on Watch What Happens Live:
Sometimes it is the simplest ensembles that can be the most expensive- Nicole is rocking a $993 $Lanvin Dress complemented by $850 Jimmy Choo’s Sepia Pumps!
So I popped over to one of my favorite sites, Celebboutique.com to see what they had to offer. I found an awesome pencil dress from their ‘Glamour’ line (click HERE to see for yourself):
Now the only other shoes I’ve seen like the Choo’s were from equally luxe Christian Louboutin (and that won’t work for today) so after a bit of searching I got a GREAT tip from fellow fashionista InTheirCloset about a fab line of shoes on Endless! (click HERE to ooh and ah):
I liked this combination so much that I snagged it myself – all I need is a colorful wrap and it is the perfect outfit for an end-of-summer date night! Look for a pic update soon!
If you followed BLF before we moved to WordPress, you know I have rarely been a fan of Zoe Saldana’s style. I have always felt she dressed a bit old for her age and youthful appearance. However it seems she got a “joie de vivre” shot in the arm after splitting with her boyfriend of ten years! Here she is at yesterday’s LA premiere of “The Words” in a gorgeous Elie Saab frock from their 2012 Fall Collectiom. She kept it safe & classy by pairing it with silver satin pumps, Neil Lane jewelry and a Judith Lieber handbag.
I love the shape the dress is giving her, but I wanted to take advantage of the current high/low trend, so I found the perfect combo at Asos!
It is everything awesome about the look- sheer, neutral and with a hint of sparkle, but infused with the youthful vibe of the current high/low dress trend! I paired it with a mettalic belt:
And while I love the silver shoe I just cannot commit to silver with so much gold on, so you are on your own. But at just $68 dollars for this look at Asos, I’m sure you can splurge! Here’s to rooftop parties and indian summers!!
Ms. Lozada took summer chic to a new level when she hosted a signing for her new book “The Wives Association: Inner Circle” at a Bronx (!!!) Barnes’ and Noble, pairing a Helmut Lang jacket and drawstring pant with Christian Louboutin heels.
Now, while I love this relaxed yet classy look, I have two challenges; One, er…I don’t have Evelyn’s midsection, and I don’t have $925 (MINUS shoes!!) so, how can I keep the loose, yet fitted vibe? Enter the Jumpsuit:
This jumpsuit by Venus (yes, they make more than swimwear) keeps the relaxed/sexy vibe while flattering all of my assets-and at $42 dollars I can afford to buy Evelyn’s new book and indulge my inner #BBW!
Now, while I prefer the shoes in both the Venus and Helmut Lang pictures, if you are a fan of Evelyn’s look I found a great alternative from Aldo Shoes:
You can get your pair here. Now you are ready for your launch! Happy Shopping!
